Budapest, Hungary

I have to admit that Budapest did not feature on my ‘must visit’ in 2015 travel list. However, when the opportunity presented itself, whereby, a friend was based there for work for a few weeks and was not be able to make a trip to London, I thought, this is probably my opportunity to explore Budapest.

I was truly taken by surprise at how scenic the city is. Pardon my lack of geographical knowledge, but I only found out during the trip that Budapest is made up of two cities, Buda and Pest, which are separated by the Danube River.

I truly had a great time, not only catching up with a dear friend during the trip, but also by the beauty that the city has to offer.

I shall let you enjoy some of the photos I managed to capture during the trip – these photos do not do justice to the city. So if you ever have the opportunity to visit, I highly recommend that you do!
